Terms

These terms apply to all production services provided by Trader Films, including independent film production, digital video production, short film and documentary production, branded video content, corporate video production, pre-production planning, script development, video editing and post-production, motion graphics, audio post-production, and digital content production.

Project Agreements. All work begins with a written project agreement defining scope, deliverables, revision rounds, timeline, and usage rights. These terms are supplementary and the signed agreement controls in the event of any conflict.

Quotes & Estimates. Project quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on information provided at time of inquiry; changes to scope may result in revised pricing.

Commencement. Production work begins only after a signed project agreement and receipt of the required deposit as specified in the agreement.

Deliverables. Final media files are delivered digitally in agreed formats. Physical media or additional formats may incur additional fees. Trader Films retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Revisions. The number of included revision rounds is specified in each project agreement. Additional revisions beyond those included are billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.

Refunds

Trader Films is committed to fair, transparent policies for all production projects. Because film and video production involves significant pre-production planning, creative labor, and third-party commitments, refund eligibility depends on the stage at which a cancellation occurs.

Before Work Begins. If a project is cancelled before any work has commenced, payments may be refunded less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred (such as location permits, equipment holds, or vendor deposits).

After Work Begins. Once production, pre-production planning, script development, or post-production work has begun, fees for completed work and any committed expenses are non-refundable. Partially completed milestones are billed at a prorated rate as defined in the project agreement.

Cancellation by Trader Films. In the rare event that Trader Films must cancel a project, any unearned fees paid in advance will be returned to the client in full within 14 business days.

Deposits. Deposits secure your project date and initiate pre-production. Deposits are non-refundable unless Trader Films initiates the cancellation.

All refund terms specific to your project are detailed in the signed project agreement, which controls in the event of any conflict with this general policy.
